Hello parents!

Welcome to the Cascade Enrichment family. We are excited to find your child the right tutor for their academic needs. Hopefully the answers to your questions are below. We are also happy to respond via email or you can schedule a remote meeting.

GETTING STARTED

  • We are working behind the scenes to make sure your child is assigned the correct tutor for what they need. Currently, there is a 1-2 week waitlist to be assigned an in-person tutor, and 1-2 days to be assigned a remote tutor.

  • Tutor sessions occur at your home, either remote or in-person. Please find a quiet and comfortable place for your child and their tutor to meet.

    Our policy is that a parent/guardian needs to be home during a minor student’s tutor session.

  • We adjust our teaching style to help each student.

    Parents are encouraged to communicate any special learning needs to the enrollment director at the time of enrolling in services. If parents discover a special learning need later on, please communicate that to the enrollment director and tutor.

  • We will help with test prep, provide progress updates to parents, and of course help your student do the best they can. However, we do not guarantee test results.

  • We take pride in adding excellent tutors to the team. It is important for students to have a positive work environment. We will work with you to resolve any issues. Parents are encouraged to communicate any issues with the enrollment director.

  • We want to start off by saying that we are not tax professionals and you should consult with your accountant. We have listed some resources here for your reference.

    Tutoring services may be deducted from Dependent Care HSA with a medical letter of necessity.

    Daytime summer camps are listed on the Dependent Care FSA eligibility sheet.

CANCEL/RESCHEDULE POLiCY

  • Cancel Appointments Online:

    In the scheduling system you can view your child's calendar appointments, cancel appointments if needed, and securely save your payment method. You can log into your account using your email here.

  • Please coordinate any rescheduling needs directly with your child’s tutor. If you need a faster response, you may also reach out to welcome@cascadetutors.com

  • Individual Tutor Sessions: At least 48 hours notice is required for cancelations so that we can provide you with a credit for the session. If you discontinue services, then we will refund any unused sessions for which there is at least 48 hours notice provided.

    Group Tutor Sessions: To simplify group billing we will send separate invoices to each family. If your child is sick or needs to miss a lesson, you are still responsible to pay for that lesson. If your child has a planned absence and will miss two or more consecutive sessions, we ask for two weeks notice and we will adjust the invoice so you are not charged for those lessons. If the group or an individual student in the group discontinues services, then we will refund any unused sessions for which there is at least two weeks notice provided.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • For new students, it may take anywhere from 1-7 days to receive your first invoice.

    Invoices are emailed once per month. Payments are due at the beginning of the month. If more tutor sessions are added to the schedule then a follow-up invoice will be sent. If sessions are cancelled with advance notice of 48 hours or more then a credit will appear on the following month invoice (or if services are discontinued then a refund will be issued for unused sessions with at least 48 hours notice).

  • The emailed invoices will have a link to pay online and we use a secure payment processor, Stripe.

  • Auto-Pay is required to be set-up. By submitting your credit card, you consent to the initiation of payments on your behalf for services by Cascade Enrichment. Your information will be saved securely on file by our payment processor for future transactions on your account. 

  • Payments: Invoices are due on the first of each month for services occurring during that month. If your credit card is on file, it will be charged automatically on the first of each month for the planned services. Any changes to the planned services will be reflected on your next month’s invoice. 

    Refunds: If you discontinue the services during the month, any remaining balance is due immediately. If there is a credit in your account, please get in touch with us so that we can expedite a refund to your account in the next ten ten business days.

    Cancellations: We require at least 48 hours of notice for canceling or rescheduling appointments. Please log into your account to cancel sessions at least 48 hours before the start of the session. For rescheduling, please get in touch with your tutor directly and give them at least 48 hours notice.

  • There is a $20 account set-up fee charged for new families. Only one fee will be charged per new family. This setup fee allows our admin time to work on finding your family the best tutor and answer any questions you have.

  • Invoices are due on the 1st of the month and considered late on the 5th of the month. There is a late fee of $50 or 5% of invoice total, whichever is greater, will be charged for all late payments.

  • Any account credits remain available for 3 months from the time of issue.
