Celebrating Flexibility and positivity at Cascade Enrichment

As we celebrate the opening of the Cascade Enrichment Snoqualmie Ridge Learning Center, I want to take a moment to highlight the incredible efforts of our team and my family. While Cascade Enrichment has proudly served the community since 2016, we are excited to expand with a new center dedicated to small group classes, further enhancing our ability to provide high-quality education to even more students.

Kayla and Courtney, our rockstar admin team, have been at the heart of this opening, embracing the "figure it out" mindset that’s often required when launching a new center. Their ability to adapt, stay organized, and keep everything moving forward has been vital to ensuring that our students and parents receive the best possible experience. Whether it's juggling schedules or coordinating last-minute details, they have approached every task with positivity and grace. Kayla, who is a nurse, and Courtney, who is studying to become a school counselor, have brought not only their professional skills but also their empathy and dedication to this project. The level of attention to detail and commitment they’ve shown has been truly extraordinary.

On the teaching side, Kevin and Jake have been nothing short of phenomenal. They’ve embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, from organizing classrooms to seamlessly adapting to new schedules and configurations. Their positive attitudes and commitment to our students’ success have set a wonderful tone for this new chapter at Cascade Enrichment.

Additionally, our center has extensive experience working with neurodivergent students. We believe that diverse perspectives and learning styles enhance the educational experience, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

Of course, I couldn’t talk about the success of this launch without mentioning the help from my own family. They were instrumental in getting the space ready, from assembling furniture and walls to setting up the door lock system and ensuring our database systems are streamlined and functional. My kids also eagerly tested out the chess boards and sensory tables, making sure everything was perfect for our students. Their support has been invaluable, and I’m so thankful for their hands-on involvement.

Opening a new location is no small feat, but with a team like this—willing to adapt, go with the flow, and maintain a positive outlook—the possibilities feel endless. I couldn’t be prouder of the way everyone has come together to make this dream a reality.

As we continue to grow and serve our community, I am confident that our collective flexibility and determination will help us provide an enriching and inspiring learning environment for every student who walks through our doors.

Finally, I also want to acknowledge the more than 50 tutors and teachers whose support behind the scenes was instrumental in this launch. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed, and I am deeply grateful for each of you.
